Does this mean I am Hired?

My boss told me that this lady Maria , called her office to verify if i was a good emplyee and everything.( I faxed to Maria a copy of the job application ... personal information along with my signature and policy agreement) She askd a lot of questions abut me. My manager told me that she said nice things about me............. Does this mean that Im getting hired at the new job??
