New Fixie Chain problem?

So i was riding my fixie the other day and it seemed like my chain skipped or something. The bike is like 3 weeks old and i checked all my teeth and they're all good. It happened when I would speed up like the pedal would just kinda slam down. It also happened when I would skid, but only sometimes. Does anyone know what's going on, I tried looking it up and it sounds like my chains slipping, but I couldn't really find how to fix it. Has this happened to anyone else and if so do you know how to fix it?
