United States Monarchy???????????

Can the united states ever be run by a king and queen. i understand that the united states was once actually ruled by the english people but can we ever have a monarchy type of government. does the constitution say we can. i know about how thomas jefferson and our founding fathers signed the constitution and all. but rules can actually be broken.
